Build confidence in handling your bees
You will learn:
- The best way to manage your bees.
- Processes for pest and disease inspection.Â
- How and when to requeen your hive.Â
- When to put on a honey super
- When to harvest honey.
The trainer is Phil Marshall. Qualified, registered and insured beekeeper.
We cater for traditional and Flow Hive beekeepers.
Bring your clean bee suit (washed) and wear covered-in shoes. In addition, we provide gloves, hive tools and smokers.
Subject to the weather. If raining, we will reschedule.
Safety: This is an "in-person" and "hands-on" event. Bee stings are possible. Take part at your own risk.
