Come along and learn about the different methods of making nucs. Then make a nuc of bees yourself! You will have a five frame nuc full of bees (approximately 5000 bees) and a new season queen installed at the end of the day. Yes, to take home in a corflute box ready for transport (value $260).
BYO Lunch. Or purchase from nearby shops.
It will be a small class of six trainees with Phil Marshall as the trainer.
- Requirements: bring your clean (washed) bee suit. Everything else is provided.
- Be prepared to take home a five-frame nucleus box of live bees with a new season queen.
- This is a "hands-on" event with live bees. Warning - bee stings are possible.
