#2. Make a nucleus colony of bees yourself! You will take home a five frame nuc full of bees (approximately 5000 bees) and a new season queen installed at the end of the day. This is an "in person" event with live bees. Warning - bee stings are possible.

Come along and learn about the different methods of making nucs. Then make a nuc of bees yourself! You will have a five frame nuc full of bees (approximately 5000 bees) and a new season queen installed at the end of the day. Yes, to take home in a corflute box ready for transport (value $250).
It will be a small class of six trainees with Phil Marshall as the trainer.
- Requirements: bring your clean (washed) bee suit.
- Date: Saturday, Oct 16th.
- Time: 10:30 am to 2 pm.
