Come along and have a great day with other beekeepers. Gain knowledge, learn essentials and share experiences. The day includes time in the classroom and hands-on practicals with live bees in the apiary.
Learn SEVEN beekeeping essentials: The pathway to beekeeping success.
You will learn:
1. How to master your smoker
2. To use different beehive components
3. To manage the brood for maximum benefit
4. About the role of the Queen in your hive
5. Bee handling techniques to reduce stings
6. How to recognize pests and disease
7. How to extract and present your honey
