Backyard Beekeeping: An introduction MARCH
Are you interested in beekeeping? Want to learn more? This event will give you all you need to know about "how to get started" in beekeeping. This is an "in-person" event. Meet with Phil from Adelaide Bee Sales; an experienced commercial beekeeper who started with one hive in the backyard.

"Backyard Beekeeping: An introduction"
Come along to bee school and learn more.
The evening is a practical introduction to backyard beekeeping.
Topics include:
- life in the bee colony,Â
- beekeeping according to the seasons,Â
- beehive equipment, including the Flow Hive,Â
- pests and disease,Â
- registration and record-keeping for PIRSA,Â
- "How can I get started?"
At 9 pm we have a Pop Up Beekeeping Shop. Â
Duration: 90 minutes followed by Q and A discussion.
Presenter: Phil Marshall, the Beekeeper's Coach from Adelaide Bee Sales.

Backyard Beekeeping:
Due to COVID restrictions, there are no refreshments provided. . We have a pop-up shop after the event selling books, honey and bee wax food wraps. Purchases can be made with cash or card. No live bees or apiary visit.
