Are you interested in beekeeping? This event will give you all you need to know about "how to get started" in beekeeping. This is an "in person" event. Meet with Phil from Adelaide Bee Sales; an experienced commercial beekeeper who started with one hive in the backyard.

"Backyard Beekeeping: An introduction"
Come along to bee school and learn more.
The evening is a practical introduction to backyard beekeeping.
Topics include:
- life in the bee colony,Â
- beekeeping according to the seasons,Â
- beehive equipment, including the Flow Hive,Â
- pests and disease,Â
- registration and record-keeping for PIRSA,Â
- "How can I get started?"
Get to see an Observation Hive with live bees and handle beekeeping equipment.
At 9 pm there will be honey tasting, and coffee. Â
Duration: 90 minutes followed by Q and A discussion.
Presenter: Phil Marshall, the Bee Coach from Adelaide Bee Sales.
